today is like the official first day of school
although we had school ystdy.
ystdy was briefings, videos, performances, prize giving and magic show!
ok for this block, lessons starts at 3pm and supposedly ends at 6pm.
today, we finished at 4.30pm.
haha, we were all quite shocked when the lecturer or wdv u call him said " ok guys, see you tmr."
so hung out with ES at lib and designer pad for awhile. haha

oh, we are currently doing visual merchandising :)
but its seems more wordy then what i expected :(

i really want a macbook black!
but my course might require software thats not compatitable with mac >:(

EVOLUTION 08/09
ok i shall blog abt the orientation :)

day 1
the day started of with registration
we were split into groups and i was placed in OTTO
and sub empire OTTA
the first familiar face i saw was caiyun!
yay tmskian! nv expect to see her in design. moi moi though.
then got greated by mallory!
she rmb me from open hse seh woo! haha.
i think she is really nice :)
rather long welcome talk by moses and the GLs tried to get us going i guess.
haha, see tried.
had icebreaker games outside with otta with cold aircon blasted at our backs.
shadi was my first otta friend!
7 pointer leh. VSC though.
hahaha VSC.
vsc freshies population like 300?!
out of 500 plus i think.
wth right!
and blah blah had station gamesss.
mass dance was good! :)
luckily got ppl find me partner.
and she became THE partner for the rest of the camp.
TingTing is a nice (can be violent) partner :)
she is like in a band with KMY from tms also
they joined superband
and i think they gonna make it onto tv.
means like top 10/20 or something la.
did the funny wusa cheer and more
and debriefed
thats all for the first day i guess.
not very exciting, not rah rah also.
home to pack and do assignment which we were suppose to hand in tmr.

day 2
we were told we were going to sentosa!
i was expecting in the day la. but it did not happen.
continued station games.
and oh boy, otta always wins. always :)
did our flag after lunch.
note: at the end of the camp, our flag was wrecked and not seen anymore.
oh had "fusball"!
u know table football where u twist the players?
played live with freshies! hah, can be rather violent.
i didnt play la. you know me. haha
ya then had preparations for perf night.
i was in cheering.
i was initially very sian la.
i do not like being a cheerleader. haha
dinner, made to talk to new nice people.
learnt some nice cheers
then we finally left for sentosa after a long long wait.
bused and mrt and tram/train to sentosa!
by that time it was 11plus if i am not wrong.
was very tired alrdy.
sentosa was rather disappointing la.
otta only managed to play one station game, which we won-woot!, cause of many reasons.
and the weather wasnt helping
plusplus we were all damn shagged alrdy.
moses had one of his long talks again.
oh moses is the director of design sch.
i think he look like bobby lee from madtv and he is rather funny
we were allowed to meet our course mateys!
in the dark. hah only manage to see a few around me.
hied and byed.
finally coached back to tp at around 2 going to 3.
bathed at the flooded shower room.
the water was at our ankles!!
zonked out.

day 3
met at tri garden after washing up at 11am
and went for brunch!
then had this game.
a long mat, with two GLs tied up to a springy rope.
then both side have to run to the end from the centre to drink from a babybottle of ribena.
very nice interesting game!
but ended up with GLs flying, being dragged across the mat and skin peeling off.
those injred were bandaged.
many GLs had to walked with limps and one of them had to sit on a wheelchair sia!
then we did final preparations for performance night.
today cheering was better than ystdy.
we were more enthu i guess.
although personally i felt the cheer was rather weird.
but wdv. haha.
perf night was good! our empire OTTO won!!
and otto won almost all the mini competitions too.
made new hi bye friends like smiley boy and some thru cheering.
oh shenna won the directors challenge.
she did a very very good job!
then night walk!! ♥
oh design night walk is BLOODY cool!
they really put in alot alot alot of effort la.
in decos/ story/ planning
there is 6 lvls in the design school
each lvl has a story on its own.
we were suppose to talk to and question the "dead" to get clues and stuff
to solve the mystery on each lvl before we can proceed on to the next.
we only manage to solve one mystery cause of time constraint.
what a pity la.
it was damn good. and damn scary.
scarily good!
then we were showed the videos of the lvl 1 to 3.
the story behind the murders.
didnt get to see all 6 though. really creative i must say.
then by the time debrief ended t was abt 3plus am.
we were not allowed to bath i dunno why
so we washed up and eh chatted in our bunk.
got new scandal loh. hahahahahahahaha!
ridiculous la they all.
and the poor GLs were cleaning up the decos and makeup while all these happened.
poor thing.

day 4
woke up at 7 plus to go shower
then meet at tri garden at 8.
did morning excercises.
both typical and funnywunny ones.
then blar blar i do not exactly remembered.
lunched and i was asked to participate for the stadium games.
didnt in the end. hah.
stadiumed, saw A familiar face.
was quite piss that they keep asking us to move up and down and up and down and squuuuueeeze.
design ~~hardly~~never won anything?
moved to bdkresv.
the designers cheered and dance and so high la.
but nv win anything also.
all business la. business.
neh mind. hah.
went back for "debrief"
freshies were asked to squeeze
and then after quite a long talk which we do cheer, they pour buckets of water on us.
waterhosed/ water bombed and i dunno what us.
we were all enjoying it la.
even when it ended, we were jumping and stuff in the flooded hallway.
which got my shoes and socks 100% wet.
actually i was wet from head to toe la.
they thanked oraganisers and ppl involved
then had emo talks with empire and FA/GLs cried.

did i mention OTTO won overall best grp? *beams*

then had otta chat, last cheer.
we did the write name on paper pass down.
i was happy, shock, blushblush at the comments i got.
seriously i was all smiles.
even though i wasnt rah rah and was actually rather quiet.
therefore the shock factor.
shall nt explain blushblush. lol.
then we went off at abt 8plus.
didnt go for jam and hop or dinner with the leftover rest
bused hm with ryan who stays near me.

i might want become a GL nxt yr ok!
and thats design camp for u!

otto is f-i-n-e fine
in the l-i-n-e line
